A 37 year old Ohio mechanic shocked doctors when he came back to life moments after they stopped trying to revive him. Tony Yahle revived 45 minutes after his heart stopped beating and was declared dead. He was rushed to Kettering Medical Center near his home in Dayton, Ohio after his wife Melissa, a nurse, woke up at 4am and noticed his breathing sounded strange. She was unable to wake him and performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. First responders found a heartbeat and he remained stable until the afternoon when his heart stopped.
Mr Yahle, a diesel mechanic, coded for 45 minutes and after doctors failed to revive him, he was pronounced dead by cardiologist Dr Raja Nazir and then something that the doctors can only describe as a medical miracle happened. His son, pointed at him laying lifeless on the hospital bed and with immense faith declared, “Dad you are not going to die today.”
He added, “When I said that, I stood there for a few more moments and then started walking back to the counselling room to comfort my sisters and my mom and anyone else. I took about three steps when my pastor called. He looked at me and said, ‘Lawrence, Lawrence,’ got my attention then he said ‘your dad, he has a heartbeat. So I got the rest of the counselling room and cheered everyone with that news. So it was awesome!”
Cardiologist Dr Raja Nazir said that was beyond rare. He said,”In the last 20 years I have never seen someone we have pronounced dead..and actually with the patient, we saw that there was no activity and we stopped doing all our efforts, then for him to come back, I have never seen it, I actually have never heard of it!”
Here is the amazing story of how just a prayer and a little faith from a grieving son gave this man a second chance at life!
