9-Year-Old Girl Sends a Letter To The State Police With a $10 Bill Stuffed Inside

Brooke, 9, sent a letter to the Pennsylvania State Police Department with a $10 bill stuffed inside after a state trooper at a local convenience store showed her kindness by paying for her donuts.
Once in a while, a story comes along that reminds us of the meaning of being kind and generous to one another — like the story of 9-year-old Brooke and state trooper Chad Savannah.

Brooke was hoping she could buy some donut holes at a Sheetz gas station, but she realized she didn’t have enough money when she got to the register.
State Trooper Savannah, standing in line behind Brooke, offered to pay for her sugary snacks. Brooke was overwhelmed and ran out of the store without looking back.
“When I paid for the donuts, she ran out of the Sheetz — it’s almost like she robbed the place. It was that quick,” Savannah told KDKA TV NEWS.
However, the cute story does not end here. Chad had no idea that Brooker had rushed home to write a letter to his department, thanking him for his generosity.
Chad’s patrol commander saw Brooke’s letter in the mail and was surprised to find a $10 bill stuffed inside. Brooke wanted to donate the money used by the trooper to pay her bill.
Troopers at the local barrack decided to give Brooke a gift — $50 and a gift card to a local chain store, then mailed it back to Brooke to thank her.
The generous little Girl used all the money she received to buy gifts for the needy kids through toys and tots.

Brooke and Officer Chad Savannah
When the troopers heard what she had done, they invited her to the local station and surprised her with more gifts. The officers also gave her a tour of the facility. This time around, they made her promise to keep the spoils for herself.
What an incredible story with an endless wave of kindness! Be sure to SHARE this story with your family and friends.
