17-year-old Feuzi Zabaat was casually walking down a street in Fatih, Istanbul ,Turkey with absolutely no idea that he was about to be a hero, thanks to simply being at the right place at the right time and having a caring heart.
As Feuzi was walking down the street he spotted, a baby girl playing near the window of a two-story apartment building.
The girl, two-year-old Doha, had wandered away from her mother as she cooked and she was dangerously close to the window. Being concerned, Feuzi decided to stand below the window as a precaution.
A surveillance camera caught the terrifying moment of what happened next. Almost as soon as Feuzi stopped below the window, Dora tumbled down through the window!
Fortunately, Zabaat was waiting to catch her with outstretched arms just before she hit the ground, saving her from grave injuries and even possibly death.
Zabaat then carried the 2-year-old identified as Dora Muhammed back into the building to her parents.
“I was just walking in the road when I saw the little girl at the window. She fell, and thanks to God, I caught her before she hit the ground,” Zabaat said, according to the Saudi Gazette.
Zabaat brought the little girl back inside where Dora’s family thanked the seventeen year old and rewarded him with 200 Turkish Lira, about $35.
That was a close call! Sometimes God puts us in specific places at the right time so we can be of help to people helpless people.
Feuzi Zabaat truly is a hero, don’t you agree?
