Mandy Harvey had a tough teenage life. She lost her hearing at the age of 18, ten years ago due to a connective tissue disorder. Her nerves deteriorated when she got sick. Due to her condition, she’s faced challenges many of us couldn’t even imagine! But the strong lady did not allow her condition to pin her down.

She started singing when she was four, she explained, and uses muscle memory and trusts her pitch to continue her passion. She explained that she feels the vibration of the beat through the floor.

At the stage, she took off her shoes so she can use the vibrations of the music with her feet to guide her and started singing her own original song “Try”. Her unique performance brought the whole room to their feet and prompt Simon to hit the Golden Buzzer!
