Owner Seals Puppy’s Eyes And Mouth Shut With Super Glue, Then Dumps Her At The Side Of The Road

It is so heartbreaking that animal abuse is still a very rampant issue in this day and age. It blows my mind that a human being can be so lacking in compassion to neglect and abuse a poor defenseless animal who looks up to them for protection and providence.

Just recently, a driver in Kansas was stunned to see an abandoned puppy by the side of the road in the early cold hours of the morning. To make matters ten-fold worse, the driver soon realized that the dog’s eyes and mouth had been super-glued shut.

The por dog, a Jack Russel terrier mix, was rushed to the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita, but she was in bad state. Doctors further found bruising on the dog’s abdomen, which they believe was the result of her being severally hit.

The poor dog’s eyes and mouth had been super-glued shut.

A team of doctors were able to remove the glue from the dog’s eyes and mouth.

The little dog was later given the name Glory, a tribute to her fighting spirit despite the horror she had been subjected to, not being able to see, eat, or drink.

Glory was taken into the care of Beauties and Beasts Inc, an animal rescue organization out of Wichita where she started the long road to rehabilitation.

“She’s got some skin to grow back and some regular healing as well. But she’s doing really well. She’s playful, and doing great.” Beauties and Beasts volunteer, Kasey Breidenthal, told 3KSN News.

Through Facebook, Glory soon won the hearts of people across the world. While she continued to fight her way through recovery, the scars she bore were a constant reminder of the horror she had overcome.

Angered by the mistreatment accorded to Glory, Beauties and Beasties took to Facebook looking for the person responsible. “Do you know who did this? This sweet young girl was found by a Good Samaritan laying on the side of the road with her eyes and mouth super-glued and bruising to her abdomen. This was an intentional act, and someone who is capable of harming an innocent little dog is extremely dangerous. They will continue this pattern of abuse on helpless victims.” they wrote.

By the time summer came around, sweet little Glory who had proven to be a loving companion was adopted into her forever home by the Waggy family, where she’ll have the love and affection she deserves.

“A tragic beginning, but a happy ending I hope,” said Mark Claeys, who fostered Glory before her adoption.

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation go out to all the people who saved Glory and gave her a second chance in life. May God bless you.
