Pregnant Waitress Runs To Her Boss In Tears After Police Officer’s Kind Gesture And A Huge Tip

Being a waitress can be a physically demanding job and can sometimes be frustrating even though you get extra tips from customers. Now imagine being a waitress while 8 months pregnant.

Courtney English is 8 months pregnant and about to have her first child. She works as a waitress at Lamp Post Diner in New Jersey.

One busy Friday, the 23-year-old served a new face among the regulars; a local Voorhees County police officer.

The officer had his lunch and they both engaged in a short friendly conversation. After he had his lunch he proceeded to the counter to pay his bill of $8.75.

Surprisingly, he didn’t only leave the payment with the customary tip. He also left a note on his bill that has since gone viral all over the world.

The officer’s note on the receipt read, “It was from the heart. Enjoy your first. You will not forget it.”

He also left her a $100 tip together with his $8.75.

Dad Brian says, “It was from the heart.

These words touched her. There have been many situations where she received a nice tip, but that little remark was what got her. ”

Overwhelmed by the encounter, Courtney ran to her boss in tears.

Her father later shared her story on Facebook and has since gone viral. Millions of people all over the world were moved by the officer’s kind-hearted gesture.
