Myles, a preschooler, had a friend at school and the two were completely inseparable. The little boys’ parents didn’t know each other and had no idea how close their kids were. That was until “twin day” rolled around at school.
Twin day was a fun, themed day for the kids, one where they were supposed to pair up in twos and wear the same clothes.
Right from the start, Myles, already knew who his “twin” was going to be. He told his mom, Britney, what outfit they were planning on wearing, so she organized it for him.
After ‘twins day’, Myles’ teacher sent Britney a photo of Myles and his ‘identical twin’. The mom was taken aback and her heart completely melted, she decided to share the picture on Facebook.
“Late last night Myles went on & on about how he had to be twins with a boy in his class for Twin Day because they look exactly the same- same eyes, same hair. He was adamant that they were identical. So after the kids went to bed I headed to Walmart at 9pm to get matching outfits.” The mom revealed on Facebook.
“Their teacher sent me this picture today. My heart melted. Obviously two very different children, but Myles didn’t see that. Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all view it through the eyes of a couple 5yr olds♥️” She added on the now viral post.
Unsurprisingly, the post has melted thousands of hearts online garnering a whopping 505,000 likes and more than 268,000 shares.
It turned out that Myles and, his ‘twin’, Tanner, live just a few minutes away from each other, meaning they can now hang out outside of school and enjoy being ‘twins’.
We absolutely agree with Britney, the world would be a far better place if everyone saw it like Myles and Tanner did.
