Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Finalize Divorce Weeks Before Their 10th Anniversary

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have officially finalized their divorce, one month after news of their split first broke. A Tennessee judge signed off on the settlement Friday, July 17, ending the country singer’s decade-long marriage to the podcast host and model.

Jelly, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, listing May 9 as their date of separation. The filing became public in mid-June, and court documents cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

How They’re Dividing Everything

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the pair are splitting their homes, vehicles, an aircraft, and their shared intellectual properties. Jelly will make a one-time, confidential lump-sum payment to Bunnie, which means no alimony claims will be argued in court.

The settlement also includes a clause barring either from speaking negatively about the other in public. Both have said from the start that the split was amicable, and that neither was unfaithful.

An insider close to the situation described the tone of the process. “There was never any desire to drag the process out,” the source told People. “They both wanted to handle the divorce with respect for one another.”

The source added that Jelly is doing well since the split. “He’s focused on his tour and his health,” they said. “He’s in a good place.”

Still Planning to Have a Child Together

Despite the divorce, Jelly and Bunnie say they still plan to have a baby together, reportedly against the advice of both of their lawyers. Bunnie first addressed the plan in June, shortly after news of the split broke.

“We’re literally settling our divorce in like… three weeks? Two weeks?” she said on her podcast at the time. “We’re still having a baby together.”

She described their relationship in her own words. “We’re going to co-parent together,” she said. “J is my best friend. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other.”

Jelly echoed the sentiment at a concert shortly after. “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends,” he said. “We just got off the phone today. Nobody cheated on nobody.”

A Decade Together, and a Family Still Denying the Rumors

The finalization came just weeks before what would have been the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary. Jelly and Bunnie met in 2015 in Las Vegas, became a couple the following year, and married in a courthouse ceremony the same night they got engaged.

Days after the divorce was finalized, Jelly’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann, addressed infidelity rumors directly during a TikTok livestream, denying that either parent had cheated.

Jelly and Bunnie have both been open with fans about their relationship for years, including through her “Dumb Blonde” podcast. For now, both say the goal is the same one they’ve described since the split first became public: staying close, staying respectful, and raising a family together on their own terms.
