The Palace shared that during King Charles’s hospital stay for a non-cancerous prostate issue, doctors discovered signs of cancer. Following further tests, the diagnosis was confirmed. As a result, King Charles has begun a series of treatments. During this time, he’s been advised to reduce his public appearances, although he will continue to manage state affairs and official paperwork.

King Charles has expressed gratitude to his medical team for their prompt action, which stemmed from his recent hospital visit. He remains optimistic about his treatment and hopes to resume his full public duties soon. The King’s decision to publicly share his diagnosis is aimed at preventing rumors and supporting global awareness about cancer.

Recently, King Charles was seen attending a church service in Sandringham, where he greeted the public.
