Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have recently become grandparents for the first time. Their eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, welcomed a baby girl last week with her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas. The couple shared the exciting news on Tuesday.
In a caption under a photo of their newborn, the proud parents referred to their daughter as “pure magic” and named her Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. They also mentioned that she was born at home on Tuesday, April 18th, and described her as “more than we ever dreamed of.”

Rumer and Derek revealed in December that they were expecting their first child together. Demi Moore enthusiastically embraced her new role as a grandmother, describing it as her “hot kooky unhinged grandma era” when she reshared her daughter’s announcement.
Rumer’s pregnancy coincided with a challenging period for the family, as her father Bruce Willis has been openly dealing with frontotemporal dementia. Despite the difficult diagnosis, the entire family has been looking forward to welcoming the newest member with great excitement and joy.
