Despite getting divorced from Bruce Willis almost a decade ago, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis continue to remain close and even attended his ex-wife Emma Heming’s wedding. Emma and Bruce have two daughters together, and he has expressed how important his relationship with his family is to him.

Recently, Emma has confirmed that Bruce has been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), a condition that was revealed to the public a year ago.

Dr. Allison Reiss, a medical expert from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s Medical, Scientific and Memory Screening Advisory Board has explained what a diagnosis of a certain condition means for a person. The condition affects a person’s ability to communicate and remember things. The cause of the condition is a combination of various factors that can have severe consequences. Some of these consequences include difficulty in speaking, understanding words, and remembering familiar objects.

The condition progressively worsens, and eventually, the person may lose everything. However, the medical expert advises families to remain hopeful and face the challenges that come with the diagnosis.

Emma Heming has hired the help of Teepa Snow, an expert in dementia care who offers training, education, and practical skills. Heming expressed her appreciation for Snow on Instagram, thanking her for helping her enhance her knowledge and abilities in caring for individuals with dementia. “She’s a loving, compassionate and skilled leader in this space who navigates herself with pure empathy,” Heming continued. “She’s a gift.”

Snow left a positive comment on Heming’s post, praising her for taking good care of her husband after he was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia. Snow acknowledged how difficult it is to live with such a diagnosis, but commended Heming for creating a supportive environment that allows Bruce to live well.

Snow congratulated Heming and her family for their dedication and hard work in providing the necessary care and support for Bruce. Given the seriousness of Bruce’s condition, it’s crucial for his family to provide him with the appropriate care and support.
