Reports from Russian media confirm that Alexandrova was traveling with her husband on the M9 highway when the couple’s vehicle struck a moose that had entered the road. The impact caused Alexandrova a fatal head injury, while her husband survived the crash.

Speaking to RIA Novosti, her husband described the devastating accident, which happened just months after the couple’s wedding in March. Alexandrova had shared glimpses of her newlywed life with her Instagram followers earlier this year.

Born and raised in Moscow, Alexandrova first entered the national spotlight during the 2017 Miss Russia competition, where she placed as first runner-up. When winner Polina Popova chose to compete at Miss World, Alexandrova stepped into the role of Russia’s representative at Miss Universe 2017.

“I want people all around the world to believe in themselves and to always have a dream. We should be strong and believe in ourselves and never give up on our dreams. In this world, everything is possible.”

While Alexandrova earned global recognition as a beauty queen, she also pursued education and a professional career outside modeling. In 2016, she graduated from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in finance.

Later, she turned her focus toward psychology, training as a psychodrama therapist. In a November 2022 Instagram post, she spoke about her work in the field and her dedication to helping others through therapy.
