Hayden Panettiere breaks silence about brother’s death—reveals brother Jansen’s cause of death
Hayden Panettiere has revealed the cause of her brother Jansen’s death, who was found dead at his home in Nyack, New York, on February 19, at the age of 28.
Jansen was an actor who had appeared in movies and TV shows such as The X’s, Tiger Cruise, Racing Stripes, The Martial Arts Kid, The Walking Dead, Perfect Game, and How High 2. He had also acted in Disney Channel original movies and made-for-TV Nickelodeon films. In 2008, he received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for his work in “The Last Day of Summer.”

The 28-year-old person shared his last photo on social media a few weeks before his death. The Daily Mail and insider reported that Jansen had been “having a rough time lately with his career.” “He had been having a rough time lately with his career and he was dragged in so many directions,” the source said.
“Hayden is just inconsolable. He was her best friend and her only brother. He was such a nice guy but he lived on the edge.”
Hayden Panettiere, who is famous for her roles in popular TV shows like Heroes and Nashville, along with Jansen’s family, released a statement today to address Jansen’s unexpected death. The statement, as reported by Mirror, says that Jansen died because of a condition called cardiomegaly, which means the heart had become enlarged, and also due to complications with the aortic valve. Though the news offers little comfort, the family shared this information with the public.

The statement reads: “Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications.”
“We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning.
“We love you so much Jansen and you will be in our hearts forever.”
