This was a special day for Sam, who had spent the first two years of his life in an unusual setting for a horse – a city building. Imagine a horse living amidst the hustle and bustle of a city! But now, Sam was returning to where he truly belonged – the great outdoors.

For Sam, this new life is all about freedom and joy. He’s not alone in his new home; he shares the space with a few of Vance’s other horses. Horses are known to be very social creatures. They love company and often struggle when they’re kept alone in small spaces like stables. It can be really tough for them because they miss chatting and playing with their horse friends.
Sam is one lucky horse! He’s got plenty of room to roam, gallop, and just be a horse in the open field. But it’s interesting to note that not all horses are the same. Some actually prefer having a more structured life with humans around. They feel safe and learn to trust and work with their human friends.
