Jennifer Aniston addresses plastic surgery rumors and shares her approach to aging at 56
The “Friends” star responds to speculation about cosmetic procedures while opening up about her health and beauty philosophy
Jennifer Aniston has finally spoken out amid ongoing speculation about plastic surgery, revealing that her focus is not on procedures but on self-care, mindset, and balance.
The 56-year-old actress was recently photographed leaving a well-known plastic surgery clinic in Greenwich, Connecticut, alongside close friends Sandra Bullock and Amanda Anka. The visit fueled reports that she may have undergone cosmetic work, though Aniston has never directly confirmed such claims.
Over the years, she has acknowledged a nose surgery to correct a deviated septum and admitted to trying Botox in the past, but she has consistently pushed back on speculation about more extensive procedures.
Aniston’s perspective on maintaining her look
In a new interview with Glamour, Aniston said she hasn’t had recent surgery but is committed to maintaining her appearance through non-invasive treatments and self-care.
“I’m not going to say I don’t get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff,” she explained. “I mean, I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over.”
For Aniston, aging is more about perspective than cosmetic changes. “It’s a mindset,” she said, describing health and beauty as tied to gratitude and positivity.
The Morning Show star has also shared her approach to health and wellness, describing it as “eighty percent healthy living” with room for indulgence.
“You go have a martini, go have your pizza and burgers,” she told Allure earlier this year. “I try not to think about age. The world will always be there telling us what women should do when you’re this or that. We can make our own rules.”
While discussions about her appearance have followed her for years, Aniston has continued to expand her career far beyond Friends. Her role as news anchor Alex Levy on The Morning Show has earned her critical praise and multiple Emmy nominations, while she also serves as an executive producer on the hit Apple TV+ series.
For Aniston, navigating Hollywood in her 50s means balancing career success with her own definition of beauty and aging. “This is our one body,” she reflected, adding that she wants to focus less on appearance and more on maintaining health and joy.
