Katy Perry is back on the road for her first world tour in seven years, but fans are divided after her latest post—some praising her dazzling stage look, others questioning whether she appears too thin.

The pop icon launched her Lifetimes Tour in April 2025 in Mexico City, supporting her 2024 album 143. Since then, she has performed across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, with upcoming dates in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil before heading to Europe and Asia.

In total, Perry is scheduled to perform 83 shows, marking her biggest tour since stepping away from large-scale live performances.

Ahead of her shows, Perry posted a photo of herself in a glittering Bob Mackie–inspired gown, paying tribute to Cher. She captioned the image: “T minus 37 days till this bedazzled butterfly takes flight! Are you READY?!”

The post drew excitement from thousands of fans who are eager for her return to the stage. But in the comments, some also expressed concern, suggesting the star appeared both slimmer and overworked.

Despite the online chatter, Perry has shown no sign of slowing down. Her social media posts reveal glimpses of tour life, from lighthearted bike rides to playful backstage moments with her 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

What fans can expect from the Lifetimes Tour

Speaking to People, Perry described the tour as an all-out celebration of her career.

“This show will be full of BPM (beats per minute). So I suggest wearing some sensible shoes and staying hydrated because I think there’s going to be a whole heck of a lot of us just dancing the night away,” she said.

She added that the production feels like “a huge Disneyland-on-wheels” with multiple costume changes, elaborate staging, dancers, and even aerial performances designed to bring her closer to the audience.

Perry explained that Lifetimes is not only a showcase of her latest work but also a journey through her entire catalog of hits.

For fans, it’s a chance to relive more than a decade of music that has defined her career, while for Perry, it marks a triumphant return to the stage after years away from full-scale touring.
