Lisa Marie Presley was a talented singer-songwriter who had a big impact on the music world.
Sadly, her life was cut short at the age of 54 when she suffered from cardiac arrest. She was taken to the hospital and placed in a coma, but unfortunately, she did not make it.
Her mother, Priscilla Presley, shared the sad news of her passing with a statement. Priscilla expressed how much she loved Lisa Marie and how she was a strong, passionate, and loving woman.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Lisa Marie’s three daughters are heartbroken after losing their mother. They are grieving the loss of a woman who was an important part of their lives.
Riley Keough has expressed her sadness over the loss of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, through an Instagram post. On the day of Presley’s funeral, her son-in-law, Ben Smith-Peterson, shared Riley’s words on her behalf as a tribute to Presley. Riley thanked her mother for all the qualities she has inherited from her, including strength, empathy, courage, a sense of humor, and others. She also mentioned that she, along with her sisters and brother, are a product of her mother’s heart.
“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart,” Riley said.
Recently, Riley shared another photo on her Instagram account that was taken during her last meeting with her mother. She expressed her gratitude for having the photo and thanked Georgie Flores for capturing the moment. “I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this,” Riley captioned the photo.
Two days before she passed away, Lisa Marie Presley went to the Golden Globe Awards with her mother, Priscilla Presley. They were there to support Austin Butler, who played Lisa Marie’s father, Elvis Presley, in a movie about his life.
Lisa Marie and Priscilla were very pleased with how the movie turned out. They thought that the events in the movie were portrayed accurately and were both impressed with Austin’s acting. Lisa Marie even said that Austin’s performance was “truly mind-blowing.”
Not only did Elvis’ family love Austin’s performance, but the critics did too. In fact, Austin was even nominated for his first Golden Globe for his role as Elvis.
