Julia Wendell, a woman from Poland, has become very popular online after making an astonishing statement that she is Madeleine McCann.
Madeleine was a three-year-old British girl who disappeared from a holiday resort in Portugal in 2007. The case was widely followed, but no one knows what really happened to her.
Her parents, Kate, and Gerry McCann believe that she was taken after they left her and her siblings in their vacation apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal to have dinner at a nearby restaurant.

The Madeleine McCann case became more intense when Christian Brueckner was identified as a suspect in her disappearance. He has a criminal history, including burglaries and sexual offenses against young girls. Currently, he is in prison for raping a 72-year-old woman and has been accused of multiple sex offenses from 2000 to 2007.
Recently, a 21-year-old Polish woman named Julia Wendell has come forward claiming to be Madeleine. She has tried to prove her claim with evidence posted on social media, such as comparisons of physical similarities between her and Madeleine.

Over the weekend, Wendell made an Instagram profile called “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann.” She used the username “iammadeleinemccan.” Wendell mentioned that she has some physical features that are similar to the missing Madeleine, like the rare eye defect, and she can’t recall much about her childhood.
“I have lived a very hard life and suffered a lot of trauma, my abuser was a German paedophile who was a suspect in the Madeleine McCann investigation,” she told Daily Star. “I had not heard of this case until I started asking my parents questions about my childhood as I have little to no memory of it. The memories are all very blurry and when I have had conversations with my parents, things don’t seem to add up and they always try to change the subject.”

It is believed that the person who abused the woman mentioned is Christian Bruckner. The parents of Madeleine, Kate and Gerry, may decide to pursue the lead and take a DNA test, according to the latest reports.
Julia, who made the claim, confirmed on Instagram that the McCanns have agreed to the test. However, Julia has faced criticism from her own family for giving false hope to the McCanns and they have rejected her.
