Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Hemming makes heartbreaking plea after his dementia diagnosis—’I need space’

Emma Heming Willis, who is married to famous actor Bruce Willis, has made a plea to the media to respect her husband’s privacy after he was diagnosed with dementia.

Emma expressed her sadness about how news organizations are trying to take pictures of Bruce without considering the impact it might have on him. She is asking the paparazzi to give Bruce some space during this difficult time.

Bruce had to stop acting last year due to aphasia, which received widespread support and love from his fans and friends. Unfortunately, his condition has now worsened as his family has confirmed that he has been diagnosed with dementia.

It seems that the health of Bruce Willis is declining and he spends most of his time at home with his loved ones. Despite this, some news outlets and websites are still trying to obtain pictures of him.

Emma Heming wants this to stop and has issued a statement asking paparazzi photographers to leave Bruce alone. She shared a video on Instagram where she talked about a recent incident where photographers tried to swarm Bruce as he went to meet some friends in Santa Monica.

Emma said: “If you are someone who is looking after someone with dementia, you know how difficult and stressful it can be to get someone out into the world and to navigate them safely, even just to get a cup of coffee.

“It’s clear that there’s still a lot of education that needs to be put forth. So this one is going out to the photographers and video people that are trying to get those exclusives of my husband out and about. Just keep your space.”

Emma acknowledged in a video that her husband’s high profile makes him a target for the media, but she wants to emphasize that his declining health has altered the situation.

“She said: “”I know this is your job, but maybe just keep your space,” she concluded. “Please don’t be yelling at my husband, asking how he’s doing, whatever.

“The woo-hooing and the yippee-ki-yay’s — just don’t do it.

“Give him the space. Allow for our family or whoever’s with him that day to be able to get him from Point A to Point B safely. That’s my PSA.”

It’s our hope that the paparazzi will give Bruce space after his diagnosis. People should respect his boundaries and leave him alone. Despite being a celebrity, Bruce is still a human being like everyone else.
