Expert claims Meghan Markle is ‘ready to sit down’ with royal family amid tensions

Since their departure from royal duties, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced heightened scrutiny and criticism. This intensified recently when Meghan launched a product from her new company at the same time Kate Middleton made her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour.

Harry, reportedly “petrified” of losing Meghan, misses his UK friends, but Meghan appears uninterested in reconciling with his family. Since their departure, dubbed “Megxit,” the Sussexes have rarely visited the UK. They attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, and Harry visited his father during his battle with cancer, but these visits were sparse.

Sources suggest Harry and Meghan reached out to Kate Middleton following her abdominal surgery and cancer diagnosis. However, they learned about her condition through the media, not directly from family. Despite the strained relationships, some royal experts believe reconciliation is possible. According to royal author Tom Quinn, Kate and William were open to inviting the Sussexes and their children to visit England, but Meghan declined due to safety concerns.

Quinn stated, “There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK.” Meghan’s reluctance stems from concerns over their safety and the anxiety of feeling unwelcome in England. Harry, preferring family visits to solo trips, reportedly urged Meghan to reconsider, but the situation remains unresolved.

Certain royal experts claim Meghan might be willing to mend ties with the royal family for unexpected reasons. Royal commentator Angela Levin suggested Meghan is still hurt by her treatment by the Royal Family and desires an apology. Levin further speculated that Meghan’s willingness to reconcile might be influenced by her business interests, hoping to leverage royal connections to promote her products.

The relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family remains complex and fraught with challenges. While some royal experts see potential for reconciliation, concerns over safety, past grievances, and differing priorities continue to hinder progress. Meghan and Harry’s next steps remain uncertain as they navigate their roles outside the royal family.
