Justin Bieber shares new image of his face after diagnosis of paralyzing condition

Justin Bieber recently gave a health update to his many fans about his ongoing recovery from Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. Last June, he publicly shared his diagnosis in a video. This syndrome, which can cause facial paralysis, forced the singer to delay his world tour multiple times.

The 29-year-old experienced facial paralysis throughout most of 2022 due to the nerve condition. However, he recently shared a hopeful update in a new video.

Earlier this month, Bieber saddened fans globally by announcing he needed to withdraw from his planned appearances on his world tour to focus on healing.

A message on the site stated: Justin Bieber has officially CANCELLED the remaining dates of his “Justice World Tour”. Check in with your point of purchase for refunds for your show dates.

While this news is certainly disappointing, most people understand that the singer must prioritize his well-being.

It seems that taking time to rest and recover has been beneficial for him. In an Instagram story shared on March 15, Bieber, the “Peaches” singer, shared a much-awaited update with his fans. He demonstrated his current facial movement, which has improved since June when half his face was paralyzed.

In the post, Bieber wrote, “Wait for it…”

According to the National Organization for Rare Diseases, only five out of 100,000 people in the US develop RHS each year. It is quite uncommon, especially for those under 60. The condition can also affect the vocal cords, which was a major concern for Bieber.

Last year, Justin Bieber posted a video on Instagram, revealing that he had been diagnosed with a condition causing facial paralysis. In the video, he mentioned that one eye wouldn’t blink, and he couldn’t smile on one side of his face. Bieber explained that a virus had attacked nerves in his ear and face, leading to the paralysis.

He expressed his need to slow down and asked for fans’ understanding. Bieber said he would use the time to rest, recover, and eventually return to doing what he loves.

“This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but, obviously, my body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down.

“I hope you guys understand. I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do.”

In 2009, Justin Bieber first gained fame with his debut EP, My World. Since then, he has become a major figure in the music world, adored by countless fans.

At only 29 years old, the singer of “Peaches” is considered one of the top-selling artists ever, with over 150 million records sold across the globe.

Bieber has received numerous awards, including two Grammys, 26 Billboard Music Awards, 23 Teen Choice Awards, and 33 Guinness World Records.

We wish Justin the very best as he continues his recovery.
