American retail businesswoman, writer, and television personality Martha Stewart has given fans a glimpse inside her expansive farm in Bedford, New York, taking them on a virtual tour of the gardens, orchards, carriage roads, and picturesque grounds she has carefully cultivated over the years.
The lifestyle icon, who calls the property Bedford Farm or Cantitoe Corners, shared the tour on her social media platforms after members of her Martha’s Garden Collective asked to see more of her garden.
Stewart began the tour at a beautiful pergola surrounded by a boxwood border, revealing that she had grown the boxwoods herself from scratch.

The television personality then took her followers around the expansive property, revealing that the farm covers about 156 acres and has approximately four miles of carriage roads.
She also showed viewers the Boxwood Allee, where large, mature boxwood plants line the grounds.

The property also features a soccer lawn that has a special connection to her family.
Stewart explained that she created the lawn specifically for her grandson, Truman, who is welcome to use it whenever he visits.
This is a soccer lawn; I made that one especially for Truman, my grandson, and he is welcome anytime, she said.

Martha Stewart’s orchard has 220 fruit trees
Stewart’s tour continued to the orchard, where she revealed the impressive number of fruit trees growing on the property.
According to the television personality, 220 fruit trees were planted in one paddock to provide fruit for her.
As she drove around the farm, Stewart pointed out an apple tree covered in fruit.
Look, there are so many apples in that tree, she said, showing viewers the abundance growing around the estate.
The extensive orchard is just one part of the property’s carefully planned landscape, which combines ornamental plants with areas dedicated to food production.
Inside Martha Stewart’s 2.75-acre maze

One of the most unusual features Stewart showed her followers was her expansive maize maze.
The maze covers 2.75 acres, and, according to Stewart, she has been planting it for the past three years.
She explained that she uses the maze as an exercise area for her Friesian horses.

This is my maze; it’s two and three-quarters acres that I have been planting for the last three years. I use it for my exercise maze for my beautiful Friesian horses, Stewart explained.
She also pointed out that each row contains a different tree, adding to the property’s intricate landscape.
Martha Stewart reveals her vegetable garden
Stewart then took viewers to her vegetable garden, where she showed off an abundance of produce.
Over here is my vegetable garden. It is so full of vegetables; we are lucky we have so much good stuff, she said.
The garden reflects Stewart’s long-standing passion for growing fresh produce and for incorporating ingredients from it into her cooking and lifestyle projects.
As the tour continued, Stewart drove through another section of the property, pointing out some of the animals and plants that make the farm distinctive.
She showed viewers peacocks roaming around the grounds before pointing out the citrus trees.
Citrus trees, hydrangeas and giant metasequoias
The citrus trees were also laden with fruit, with Stewart noting that they would be ready for harvesting in autumn.
She also highlighted the property’s hydrangeas before drawing attention to a group of metasequoia trees.
Stewart explained that she had planted the metasequoias herself when they were only tiny seedlings.
The trees had since grown significantly, with Stewart pointing to the enormous trunk of one of them.
These are metasequoias. I planted those little seedling trees. Look at the size of that tree’s trunk, she said.
It was while admiring the mature trees that Stewart shared perhaps the most personal line of the entire tour.
I know all the trees like my children, she said.
