Chris Kyle, an entrepreneur, is passionate about backing fellow small business owners. Interestingly, his young daughter Ava has taken after him by setting up her own “business” in the living room, using a toy kitchen set her mother bought.
Although Chris had reservations about the toy’s price initially, he now believes it’s money well spent, watching Ava delight in her imaginative play.
“When my wife made the purchase, I was hesitant about spending a few hundred dollars on it,” Chris explained. “It has been worth every penny. Ava is the star of her own little world when she is ready to play.”

Chris Kyle humorously shared his experience at his daughter Ava’s make-believe restaurant, Ava’s Kitchen, on Instagram. He joked about trying to support another “Black Owned Business” for lunch, only to be met with quirky decor choices, like unexplained balloons on his chair.
While he asked Ava about the balloons, she cheekily replied that they belonged to her mother. Additionally, Chris light-heartedly commented that the service level might not be up to par with the renowned Zagat ratings.
“So I tried to support another Black Owned Business for lunch today,” he wrote. “It’s called Ava’s Kitchen, just opened end of April. It’s a very clean establishment, but whewww let me tell you about this owner.”
“First off, I asked why there are balloons on my chair, and it’s not my birthday?” Chris continued. “She talm’bout, mind yah business; those are Mommy’s.”
“I been waiting on my order to get done for 45 minutes, and I’m the only customer here,” wrote Chris. “She was making good progress at first, then she stopped for 20 minutes to go watch Paw Patrol. Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance.”
Chris and Ava’s delightful interaction at her pretend restaurant became an internet sensation.
