Last week, Dick Van Dyke, a famous entertainer, was in a car accident in Malibu. Luckily, he only suffered minor injuries. The reports suggest that he was driving when he lost control of his car and hit a gate.
The police were called to the scene of the accident, where they found Van Dyke in his car, a 2018 Lexus LS 500. The actor told the officers that his car had slid off the road because of the wet conditions, which caused him to lose control and crash into the gate.

The paramedics treated him at the scene because he didn’t want to go to the hospital. The police didn’t find any drugs or alcohol in his system, but they have requested him to take a retest for driving due to his advanced age.

In an interview with Closer Weekly, Van Dyke mentioned that he and Silver share the same attitude towards life, and they sing and dance almost every day. Silver, on the other hand, thinks that Van Dyke is a perfect human being and describes him as a happy pill, given his genuine and amazing personality.
“He is the most perfect human being,” Silver, meanwhile, said of her husband.
“I’ve never met anyone so happy, so genuine, so amazing. He’s just like a happy pill.”

Before marrying Arlene Silver, Dick Van Dyke had two long-term relationships. He was married to Margerie Willett, with whom he had four children, from 1948 to 1984.
