Ed Sheeran’s wife found out she had cancer when she was six months pregnant with their second child

In the world of celebrities, it’s easy to forget that they experience the same ups and downs as everyone else. They too face life’s challenges, including personal struggles and health scares.

Take Ed Sheeran, for example, a well-known musician. Despite his fame and success, he’s had to deal with serious concerns recently. Ed and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, who married in 2019 after starting their relationship in 2015, faced a tough situation last year. Cherry was diagnosed with cancer during her pregnancy with their second child. This news came at a particularly difficult time for Ed, as he also lost his best friend that same month.

In his Disney+ documentary, “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All,” Ed shares his emotional journey during this period. The documentary reveals a side of Ed that goes beyond his music career, showing his struggles and emotions. In one touching scene, he is seen tearfully traveling in a car, reflecting on the challenges he and his family faced.

Cherry talks about her cancer diagnosis in the documentary as well. She speaks candidly about her reflections on life and mortality, sharing her thoughts on how people perceive her and what legacy she would leave behind. This experience made her think deeply about her role not just as a wife and mother, but also about how she is seen by others.

Fortunately, after a period of anxiety and worry, Cherry gave birth to their second child and underwent successful surgery to remove the tumor in her arm. We wish Ed and his family the very best.
