“I arrived back in the bush last night,” the tribute continued. “Today, although the sun is shining and the torrential rain has abated, this date will forever be tinged with sadness. My dear old man, my beautiful dad, the most gentle of men, has passed away.”

He mentioned that although he’s not fond of dressing up dogs, a friend gifted Louis a Ralph Lauren polo to match with him, which he found amusing and thought might make the other farm dogs jealous.

However, in a recent, saddening update, the actor revealed that Louis tragically passed away after being struck by a truck. He took to Twitter to express his sorrow over the loss of his beloved pet.
On the second anniversary of his father’s death, a sorrowful day for the actor, he faced another heart-wrenching loss. The actor recounted how he held his small dog in his arms, expressing his love, as they hurried to the vet. Sadly, it was too late, and the beloved pet passed away while still in the actor’s embrace.
