Life is a mystery. No matter how hard we work to make things right, there are times when God has other plans.
A woman named Becky was filled with extreme sadness after she tragically lost her nineteen-year-old son Tristan. Becky had a difficult time coming to terms with her son’s death, but with help from friends and family, she finally came to terms with the loss.
Two years after Tristan’s passing, Becky had an opportunity to marry the man of her dreams, Kelly. At their wedding, Kelly planned a pleasant surprise that left Becky in tears she simply could not control.
On their wedding day, the couple reserved an extra seat in memory of Tristan. The seat had a heartwarming message written on it that read: “I’m in heaven for your wedding so what shall I do? I’ll come down to earth to spend it with you. So save me a seat, just one empty chair. You may not see me but I will be there.” Though the message on the chair was comforting, Kelly had something even more touching coming up.
Just before the wedding ceremony could start, Kelly told Becky that there was a young man at the wedding she just had to meet. Right at that moment, Jacob, a 21-year-old from San Diego appeared, and Becky instantly knew who he was. She was overwhelmed and couldn’t stop tears of joy from rolling down her face.
Jacob — who was the recipient of Tristan’s heart — had flown all the way from San Diego in order to be there on Becky’s big day. Tristan was an organ donor, and Jacob wasn’t the only person whose life he saved.
Kelly had informed Jacob that he and Becky are getting married and invited him to the ceremony. Jacob was so excited about the invitation and made sure he showed up. This was a beautiful surprise that warmed Becky’s heart. She felt like her son was present on her big day.
The beautiful bride even got a chance to listen to her late son’s heartbeat using a stethoscope. She was so emotional and excited at the same time.
Someone managed to snap photos of this beautiful surprise and shared them on social media. The story immediately went viral and her journey has inspired thousands of souls across the globe.
